BookFunnel (browser or app)

Bookfunnel released an app in late 2015 for Android and Kindle Fire devices that allowed readers to download books wirelessly to their devices. They've released a new version of the app for iOS in March 2020 to the App Store.

Refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances, otherwise digital sales are final.

  • Duplicate purchases: If a customer accidentally purchases the same eBook multiple times, we will issue a refund for the duplicate purchase(s) upon verification.
  • Technical issues: If the eBook file is corrupted or inaccessible despite reasonable attempts to resolve the issue, we will issue a refund or provide a replacement copy.

Buyers have 14 days to download the book files and can request additional time by visiting BookFunnel.com/help. If it has not been more than 14 days, and you still cannot download your book, please fill out the Contact Us form with your order information. We'll assist you in resolving the issue promptly.

For digital products, you will receive a link to the email provided at checkout. The subject line will contain "BookFunnel", and the title of the book purchased.

To ensure there are no delivery problems, or the emails aren't going straight to your spam/junk folders, please whitelist the help@bookfunnel.com email. If the email is not in your junk folder, navigate to My.BookFunnel.com!

Buyers can log in with their purchase email on release day and download their book.

When a buyer purchases our preorder, they will receive a delivery email at 12:01 AM EST on release day!

Please fill out the contact us form with your order information if you receive the wrong digital purchase/book.

If a buyer purchases more than one item (eBook or audiobook), buyers will receive ONE email with links to each of the items purchased.

“No longer available” or “Page not available” errors are usually seen on Kindle Fire tablets when a reader taps the Download Book With BookFunnel App button, but they do not have the BookFunnel app installed.

“Page not found” is a common error report we see in support, and it does not mean your page is busted.

It usually means you've probably pasted your download link into the Google or Bing search box instead of typing it into the address bar in their web browser.

If the problem persists, please fill out the Contact Us form with your order details.

Shipping

Paperback print orders are typically printed and shipped within 5-7 business days. After that, it will be delivered within the timeframe selected during checkout for shipping. Hardcover print orders are typically printed and shipped within 7-10 business days before the shipping method timeframe comes into effect. Depending on the shipping method chosen, 2-3 weeks should be allotted from purchase to delivery.

We offer a variety of shipping methods to suit your needs, including standard, expedited, etc. The available shipping methods and their associated costs will be displayed at checkout.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number.
You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment and get real-time updates on its status. Once received, it may take up to 24-48 business hours for the tracking information to update.

It's essential to provide accurate and complete shipping information during checkout. MDW Press is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

In the rare event that your package is lost or stolen after being marked as delivered, please contact the carrier directly for assistance. We will provide any necessary documentation to help resolve the issue.

If an order is returned to us due to non-delivery (e.g., incorrect address or failure to claim the package), we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Privacy Policy

Yes, we use industry-standard encryption to protect your payment information. Your security is our priority.

Information that you directly submit to us through our Services may include:

  • Basic contact details including your name, address, phone number, and email.
  • Order information includes your name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email address, and phone number.

  • Shopping information including the items you view, put in your cart, or add to your wishlist.

  • Providing Products and Services. We use your personal information to provide you with the Services in order to perform our contract with you, including processing your payments, fulfilling your orders, sending notifications to you related to your account, purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, to create, maintain and otherwise manage your account, to arrange for shipping, facilitate any returns and exchanges and to enable you to post reviews.
  • Marketing and Advertising. We use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail, and to show you advertisements for products or services. This may include using your personal information to better tailor the Services and advertising on our Site and other websites.
  • Security and Fraud Prevention. We use your personal information to detect, investigate, or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. We highly recommend that you do not share your username, password, or other access details with anyone else. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
  • Communicating with you. We use your personal information to provide you with customer support and improve our Services. This is in our legitimate interests in order to be responsive to you, to provide effective services to you, and to maintain our business relationship with you.

In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:

  • With vendors or other third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g., IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment, and shipping).
  • When you direct, request us or otherwise consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as to ship your products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations, with your consent.
  • With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group, in our legitimate interests to run a successful business.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with any applicable legal obligations (including responding to subpoenas, search warrants, and similar requests), to enforce any applicable terms of service, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.

Refund Policy

A print-on-demand item is manufactured when the order is received. Due to the nature of the print-on-demand manufacturing process, we do not accept returns or exchanges on physical products. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. We will review your case and, if applicable, provide a replacement or issue a refund at our sole discretion. 

You must request a refund within 7 days of the order date on digital products and 30 days for physical products. See the full refund policy for special exceptions to which a digital refund will be approved. Otherwise, digital sales are final. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us by filling out our Contact Us form or email [info@shauntelanettebooks.com] with your order number.

(a) If the work is defective so that the Customer may in law reject it, the Customer must advise the Company within seven (7) working days of delivery, failing which the customer will be deemed to have accepted the work.

(b) ‘Defective’ is defined as manufacturing faults occurring outside of the normal digital manufacturing process.

Fill out the Contact Us form with the following information:

- Order number

- Details of quantity and of damage 

- Images of the defect/damage. If this was damaged in transit, both an image of the received package and damaged books would be beneficial.

Once this information has been provided and reviewed by the team, we can offer to resolve the issue by provide a replacement or issue a refund.
